2015 Golden Globes

Today is the 2015 Golden Globes and I am sitting in my room with snacks, water, and wine to give my opinions and results of the award show.  Let’s start with the arrivals.

ARRIVALS

I have to say that George Clooney and his wife, Amal look gorgeous together.

There is an issue with the microphones that I’m not loving.

Love Emily Blunt’s dress and she looks amazing.  Especially since I heard she had been sick.

Oh Eddie Redmayne looks amazing….not loving his wife’s dress

I like Amy Adam’s dress but she needs some color on her lips.

Edward Norton looks so hot.  I still have a giant crush on him.

Emma Stone looks very stunning with her dress and hair and makeup.  Does her dress have pockets?!

Helen Mirren looks gorgeous in red.

Oh My God….I love Matt Bomer…that man can pull off a suit.

Can I wear Tina’s dress? I love it!

Eddie Redmayne and his wife are so cute together and you can see how much he loves her.   Still not loving the color of her dress.

I really want to know who told some of these people that they hair/makeup/dress looked good….some of them do not look good at all.

Benedict Cumberbatch is at the Golden Globes?!  I know a lot of people don’t like him but I do.  I think he is a very talented actor and a nice person.

Kerry Washington looks amazing!! I love her dress!! Damn!

Anna Kendrick looks so pretty and I love her dress…kind of wish her hair wasn’t pulled back.

Ryan Guzman is hot!!

That is a hella lot of champagne….no wonder people are drunk by the end.

I would kill to be able to wear Viola Davis’s dress. That is a beautiful red dress.

Julianna Margulies is also wearing an amazing red dress

Red seems to be a very popular color for the red carpet this year.

I can see someone drinking out of a champagne bottle in the background…I’m a little jealous

That moment when you realize the guy who is nominated for a golden globe for her portrayal of Martin Luther King Jr. was also Danny Hunter in MI-5

THE GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS

I’m tempted to a costume change count because both Tina and Amy have changed their dresses and again I want Tina’s dress.

I love Tina and Amy…they are amazing and hilarious and I love them.  They have some awesome jokes and they totally went there in regards to Bill Cosby and the rape allegations.

I do love Jennifer Aniston’s dress and I wish I could wear it.

Can Benedict please stop dying his hair dark.  And slicking it back…can’t you just leave your hair all loose and free and light brown?

Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture: and the winner is J.K. Simmons for Whiplash

So I knew nothing about this movie till I looked it up last night at my cousin’s house.  It sounds sort of interesting and sort of terrifying to watch.

Jamie Dornan is so hott…sorry I can’t help it. I’ve found him attractive since he was the sheriff on Once Upon a Time.  Not sure how I feel about Dakota Johnson’s dress.

Best Supporting Actress in a Series, Mini-Series, Motion Picture for TV: and the winner is Joanne Froggatt for Downton Abbey

I love her dress!! She did an amazing job as Anna Bates during Season 4 especially with her storyline for Anna’s rape.

oh Jeremy Renner….oh man….If there was one man that I could be friends or want to date or anything like that its him.  I have been a fan of his I saw him in S. W. A. T.  when I was 15.

Best Mini-Series or TV Movie: and the winner is Fargo

Oh man I can’t help but think he looks super hot.  I’m so ridiculous

Best Actor in a Mini Series, Motion Picture for TV: Billy Bob Thornton for Fargo

I want to know what color lipstick Naomi Watts is wearing and because I love it and I want it.

I can’t stop laughing over Amy and Tina’s jokes.

Look at Meryl standing up first to clap

Colin Firth is still as good looking now as he did in 1995 as Mr. Darcy.

Kerry Washington’s dress is amazing and gorgeous

Best Actress in a TV series in a comedy or musical: and the winner is Gina Rodriguez for Jane the Virgin!!!  I was hoping she would win.  I love Jane the Virgin because it is an amazing and funny show that everyone should watch.

Best Series Comedy or Musical: and the winner is Transparent. I’m sad that Jane the Virgin didn’t win but props to Transparent for winning.

Some of these acceptance speeches are making me cry and I can’t stop.

I love Melissa McCarthy’s lipstick too!

Best Original Score in a Motion Picture: and the winner is Johann Johannsson for The Theory of Everything

Dude Prince is at the Golden Globes…how cool is that?

Best Original Song in a Motion Picture: and the winner is “Glory” from Selma by John Legend and Common

Katie Holmes hair looks weird

Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture for TV: and the winner is Matt Bomer for The Normal Heart.  YAY!!! Oh and another person is making me cry with his acceptance speech.

I love how when the actors start getting drunk and are presenting and/or accepting awards…some of them I would love to go drinking with

can I ask how Julianna Moore is nominated for a movie that isn’t out yet?

Best Actress in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical: and the winner is Amy Adams for Big Eyes

I have to say this was a hard one for me to pick who I wanted to win because I pretty much liked all the nominees and would have loved to see any of them win.

Salma Hayek looks amazing and I love her dress.

Best Animated Film: and the winner is How to Train Your Dragon 2

What is Keira Knightley wearing?

Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture: and the winner is  Patricia Arquette for Boyhood

Best Screenplay in a Motion Picture: and the winner is Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, , Nicolas Giacobone, Alexander Dinelaris, Armando Bo for Birdman

I feel like I saw someone wear Jane Fonda’s dress at my high school prom

Alright now I’ve got to watch Transparent….good thing its on Amazon so I can watch it.

I love Lupita Nyong’o’s dress

Best Foreign Language Film: and the winner is Leviathan (Russia)

I love love love Kate Beckinsale’s dress

Best Actress in a Mini-Series or TV Motion Picture: and the winner is Maggie Gyllenhaal for the Honorable Woman

On look another costume change!! I love the tux Tina 😉

Adam Levine sure looks good in a tux

Best TV Series Drama: and the winner is The Affair which completely underwhelms me. Didn’t really want to watch, have no desire to see it now and I’m just over shows about infidelity and cheating

Catherine Zeta Jones looks amazing in red but she needs to not have hair tucked behind her ears.  I also really want her dress.

I really want to see Pride that looks like an amazing movie.

Best Actor in a TV Series Drama: and the winner is Kevin Spacey in House of Cards

I have to admit that I love watching Julianna Margulies and Don Cheadle fighting over who is a closer friend of George Clooney and I love how his wife is laughing with him.

I know I’m not a huge lover of George Clooney because I don’t think he’s the best thing since sliced bread but I do admire his talent and the humanitarian work for what he’s done.  So bravo to him and congratulations to him on being awarded to the Cecil B Demille award. And he made me bloody cry over his speech and especially in regards to his finding love and his love for his wife.

Best Director in a Motion Picture: and the winner is Richard Linklater for Boyhood

Aww Chris Pratt and Anna Faris are so cute together…I love them. Also really love her dress.

Best Actress in TV Show Drama: and the winner is Ruth Wilson for The Affair .   I have to ask what the fuck was she thinking in wearing that dress?  I hate the unfinished look it has and she can’t walk in it either. Ugh. So disappointed.

Best Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy or Musical: and the winner is Michael Keaton for Birdman.  I haven’t seen this movie yet but it looks like I need too.

I’ve got a pile of tissues from all these speeches making me cry and emotional.

Oh I love Robert Downey Jr.  He is an amazing actor and and an amazing person.

Best Motion Picture Comedy or Musical: and the winner is The Grand Budapest Hotel. YAY!!!! I wish really hoping this movie would win something because this movie is amazing and awesome and everything needs to see it!  Like seriously….go see it! NOW!

Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama: and the winner is Julianne Moore for Still Alice.  This is a movie that I don’t know if I will ever be able to see because its about a woman fighting early onset Alzheimer’s and my grandmother had Alzheimer’s and Parkinsons and its hard for me to watch movies about it because watching her in has last few years broke my heart.

Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama: and the winner is Eddie Redmayne for the Theory of Everything.  This was another category that I didn’t know who I wanted to win but it was pretty much a tie between Eddie Redmayne and Benedict Cumberbatch because I think everyone should see the movies that they have done about such important people. I can’t tell you what I first saw him in but I have been a fan of his for years and I think he is a phenomenal actor.

Have they been passing around that red lipstick that I like so much?  I feel like I’ve seen 4 or 5 different people wearing it

Best Motion Picture Drama: and the winner is Boyhood.

I have to say I think Boyhood completely took everyone by surprise. I think people were expecting movies like Selma or The Theory of Everything or The Imitation Game to win and no one really thought Boyhood would be the sneak winner.

Congratulations to all the winners and nominees of the 72nd Golden Globes.
